As summer is in full swing, we’re taking a moment to reflect on and celebrate the incredible 2024–25 school year at CICS Bucktown—a year defined by connection, creativity, and community. From launching new after-school sports programs to expanding our free club offerings, this year was all about creating spaces for students to explore, grow, and thrive both in and out of the classroom.
We are proud to have hosted the Distinctive Schools Northside High School Fair, welcoming students from across the network to explore future academic opportunities and connect with high school representatives. Events like this help our students to plan for their futures with confidence and support.
We also held regular Principal Advisory meetings, where students met with Principal Kliebert and Assistant Principal Garcia to share their ideas and offer feedback on how to make our school even better. This initiative helped elevate student leadership and ensure that our school community reflects the voices within it.
Throughout the year, we continued to foster family connection through monthly events and remained deeply committed to joyful, student-centered learning. Thank you to our families, staff, and students for making the 2024–25 school year one to remember. Here's to a restful, fun-filled summer—and to an even brighter year ahead!
