Distinctive Schools – The Future YOU Choose.

At Distinctive Schools, we are committed to providing safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where all students thrive—during and beyond the traditional school day. As part of that commitment, Distinctive Schools is pleased to announce our intent to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant, a federally funded opportunity under Title IV, Part B.

The 21st CCLC program supports the creation of community learning centers that provide academic enrichment opportunities during non-school hours. If awarded, this grant will allow us to expand our extended-day programming and further enrich the out-of-school-time experience for our students and families.

Funds will be used to:

  • Provide high-quality academic support and tutoring,

  • Deliver a variety of enrichment activities that complement classroom learning,

  • Engage families through meaningful programming and resources,

  • Foster safe and supportive spaces for students to grow socially and emotionally.

This opportunity aligns with Distinctive Schools’ mission to serve the whole child and to develop innovative, student-centered approaches that meet the needs of every learner.

We will continue to share updates as our application progresses. For more information on the 21st CCLC program, visit the U.S. Department of Education’s website.

Thank you for your continued support as we strive to expand access and opportunity for the students and communities we serve.
